Hello. Here I am welcoming you to my website in a photo taken at the Acropolis with the Temple of the Kariatides in the background. I'm glad you're visiting my website. I hope you will find something here that interests you. |

I like to think that publishing my website is a way of counting my blessings. Even if no one else ever looks at it, I enjoy seeing a summary of what I have done and what I am doing. But I also maintain this site for certain friends who would like to see an organized presentation of my life, past and present, and my current interests. So if you are one of those friends, old or new, here it is: some information about me that I hope you may find of interest.
My PROFESSIONAL PAGE contains information about my career, now almost totally in my pre-retirement past, as a musician and professor. If this page loads slowly, it is because it includes a sound file of one of my compositions. Be patient; you will be rewarded.
NEW!!!! Also on the professional side of this website is a page on which I post music scores of my compositions and arrangements, hoping they will be of use to my musician colleagues. Click here to go to FREE MUSIC SCORES.
My PERSONAL PAGES contain some information about my family, where I live and have previously lived, and some of my recent activities (with a big announcement posted on 4/27/2011 about my Padres employment).
There are several PHOTO COLLECTIONS that I hope you will find interesting. Click here to go to an INDEX of and links to the various photo galleries. NEW on 7/22/11: the 2011 edition of "HATS OF DELMAR."
There used to be a page called Current News and Info. But I was never regular about keeping this section up to date (as in a blog), so I've eliminated that page and will hereafter put news about current happenings right here on this homepage.

And here I am again in a photo taken a few years ago in Pisa, inviting you to stay for a while and enjoy a virtual visit with me on this website. And if you are inclined to do so, click on the email link below to let me know that you've passed my way.
